Evein only processes information displayed publicly on LinkedIn pages that the user visits, and only for the purpose of delivering the functionality requested by the user.

What Evein Processes
Evein processes only publicly visible website content from LinkedIn pages, including:

This content is processed locally on your device or sent securely to our servers only when you manually trigger an AI feature (e.g., “Generate Insight”, “Generate Reply”, “Analyze Profile”).
3. Contact Lookup Services (Lusha, SignalHire)
If the user connects their own API key or uses a proxy provided by us:

The request is made only when the user clicks the contact lookup button

We do not store, log, or share contact results

We do not keep or reuse API keys

No data is sold or transferred to third parties
All contact data returned comes directly from the provider (e.g., Lusha) and is displayed only to the user.
4. AI Features & Data Processing
When you use AI features (OpenAI, custom AI server), Evein may transmit only the text you select or the LinkedIn content displayed on your screen necessary for generating:

Analysis reports
We do not store or reuse this data.
We do not send any authentication data, browsing history, or private messages.
5. Data Storage
Evein uses Chrome’s storage only for:

No private user data is stored on our servers.
